Dr Kenneth Lawty (GDC no. 302632) 

Dr Ken Lawty brings a unique blend of military discipline and clinical excellence to his dental practice. Educated across Hong Kong, the UK, and the USA, he began his professional journey in the British Army, serving for nine years in the Regular Army and a further nine years in the Army Reserves. During this time, Ken held roles as a Combat Medical Technician and Pharmacy Technician within the Royal Army Medical Corps, achieving the rank of Sergeant Major and gaining extensive experience in locations including Germany, Kenya, and Afghanistan.

Supported by military sponsorship, in 2022 Dr Ken completed his BDS dental degree at Plymouth University. He went on to complete his foundation training within the NHS before transitioning into private practice. His leadership skills were further recognised when he was commissioned at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, earning the rank of Captain in the Royal Army Dental Corps.

Dr Ken is known for his calm, communicative, and patient-focused approach. He prioritises minimally invasive techniques and has a particular interest in Prosthodontics—restoring function and aesthetics through veneers, crowns, bridges, dentures, and implants.

His professional background and dedication to ongoing clinical development allow him to offer comprehensive care with a strong emphasis on precision and trust.
